I am an ambitious person who likes to be part of a team Favourite Sport: Football Favourite Food: Chinese Favourite Music: All type of music Favourite Country: Russia What is your job? I run a family business and so I really do a bit of everything Who or what made you interested in starting referring? Actually I was always crazy about football, and was always interested in taking part in the same game. So around five years ago when I saw an advert on a newspaper, I decided to take part in the course. I am pleased to say that I have had my successes and I hope to continue to make progress. When did you become a referee? In year 2000 Which was your first match? Under 12 Pepsi Tournament at Ta' Qali Who is your favorite foreign referee? Since referees are all dedicated people, I admire all referees and have no favorite one.   Which was your memorable match? Under 19 Knock-Out Final match, at the National Stadium Ta' Qali which was played before the Final match of the F.A. Trophy. What about your family reactions? They are very supportive and and proud of me Do you consider the public respect you as referees? In general yes, all the people involved in the football sector know that it requires a lot of dedication and hard work to keep a good level of refereeing. What about your family’s reactions? My family supports me a lot. How do you prepare yourself before a match? Well mentally I forget all personal problems and focus only on the game which is very important and; physically I am always well prepared. Would you encourage others to join? I always try to encourage other to join, but it is difficult to convince them to do so.
